Deeper Discounts for Sheeple!

I guess no one's interested in what a washed up has-been has to say about his experiences in politics.

  1. Even at 90% it is still a waste of money. If they decide to give it away, I may consider accepting a copy to rip apart and line a bird cage with. That is all it is good for. Total waste of paper.

  2. Many of the Chapters outlets in the Halton region still have LOTS of copies on the shelves. It may have sold a few from people who were just curious, or political junkies, or who in fact like fiction.

I still get a chuckle from reading it.

  3. Apparently the local Halton Liberals have CANCELED their Garth Turner book signing fundraiser. I guess the interest they received (or lack there of) couldn't justify the Hall rental.

  4. Garth called one of his books "Greater Fool." I think the greatest fools would be those who attend that snoozer of a fundraiser.

No wonder they cancelled the event. I am not sure there is anyone out there who could look at Garth with a straight face and say that his book was good.

Over the years the Liberals have orchestrated some pretty elaborate schemes and have lied to the public about it. Telling Garth that they liked his book would be too much of a stretch for even the best Lieberal.

Besides, I don't really think that a signed copy of Sheeple is something you would want to show off to your friends. Think of the embarrassment you would face for seeking out that signature.
